  2. 2 1/2 pounds chicken drumsticks patted dry
  3. 2 teaspoons sea salt
  4. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  5. 1/2 cup barbecue sauce for chicken legs
  6. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for serving
  7. green onions slivered or sliced, for serving; optional

  1. Preheat the oven to 375u00b0F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray liberally with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. Place the chicken legs in a large mixing bowl and season with the salt and black pepper. Add the barbecue sauce and toss with a rubber spatula to thoroughly coat the chicken in the sauce.
  4. Arrange the chicken legs on the prepared baking sheet.
